Library

Your success in college is dependent on your reading ability.

If you are having trouble keeping up with or comprehending your assigned reading, please ask a college adviser for a reading placement test and any recommendations he/she has for improving your reading.

One way of improving reading is by reading a wide range of materials. This library offers classic books, historical documents, news and reference material. Use these resources to your advantage.

Classic  Literature

The books available here are free to download. They are in PDF file format. Please feel free to use the materials in this section for literature or writing classes. Free downloads of The Wizard of OZ and other classics are available here.

Please check back, as we are increasing the collection.

Historical Documents

This section is probably most useful for students studying history and political science. Free downloads of the United States Constitution and other historical documents are available here.

News

No matter what subjects you are studying, it is important to keep in touch with the “real world”. Stay up on current events. The News section includes Education, National and Health News. Take a break from the mathematics or ancient history and see what is happening around you.

Reference

You can find materials here to support research and writing projects. Useful products and links are available here including, a dictionary, thesaurus and encyclopedia. These valuable tools will help you find the right thing to say and the right way to say it (spells it correctly, and say it another way if you are really trying to get your point across).
